Role purpose:
Go Instore is the market leader in live video shopping sales platforms.
To continue our success at pace, there is a need for an exceptional UK based UX Designer with a focus on research to drive the innovation and continue the evolution of our products.
UX Research and design sits within our UXD Team alongside our Product Designers and Product Managers and helps us to better understand our customers, their needs, their mindsets and their problems. As part of our design team, you’ll champion using this research and evidence to develop delightful digital experiences that our customers love.
You’ll work alongside the product designers, product managers, data analysts, developers and our business teams - to define our product roadmap and bring your vision to life.
The UX Designer will report to the Head of Design.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure that customers’ needs and wants are understood and considered throughout the product/service development process
• Driving, facilitating research synthesis, developing key insights at the appropriate depth, translating them into actionable strategies and recommendations to guide product/service design, business strategy and content
• Shaping engagement by translating insights into creative ideation, making strategic and creative leaps from data-led insights and moving projects forward by initiating collaboration
• Become an expert in new technologies, trends and consumer behaviours to help make marketing and product strategy recommendations
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in applied quantitative/qualitative research and design is essential
A range of experience with a variety of research methods, which may include interviews, moderated and unmoderated usability testing, survey design, ideation sessions, usability evaluation, design research methods, participant observation, focus groups, A/B and multivariant testing, statistical modelling and product analytics
Prototyping skills and experience with Figma, Sketch and Adobe Suite
Experience working in an Agile Squads environment
Effective interpersonal communication, negotiation and collaboration skills. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
Experience with design systems and UI interfaces is a massive plus
BA/BS degree in Design, Art, Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, related field or equivalent practical experience
B2B/B2C experience in the video and tech-retail industry is a massive plus
Experience with video and audio devices and software is a plus
Fluency in English
