UX/UI Product Designer

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • As a Product Designer, you will conceptualise and craft seamless user experiences that support our product portfolio and clients. 
  • You will be involved in product strategy from the very beginning, offering your knowledge and unique expertise to help shape product direction and turn ideas and concepts into a workable design. 
  • You will produce wireframes, prototypes, style guides and hi-fidelity designs to explore, experiment and ultimately advocate for simple, elegant solutions to complex problems. 
  • You will support the business throughout multiple design activities 

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ year’s experience in delivering products 
  • A strong portfolio that clearly demonstrates your product design process and breadth of design work 
  • Experience designing and solving for complex workflows using User-centric design methodology 
  • You think and work atomically when it comes to building UI, deeply customer-focused, you always strive to understand who you are solving problems for 
  • Comfortable working across the entire design process including user research, concept development, wire-framing, prototyping, testing, and of course, crafting the final UI 
  • Highly experienced with Figma, Sketch and Adobe Suite tools 
  • Experience with design systems and UI interfaces 
  • Strong understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS, Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate design decisions persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of an organisation 
  • Desire to work on a product from concept to delivery 
  • Experience working in an Agile Squads environment 
  • Effective interpersonal communication, negotiation and collaboration skills. - Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects 
  • BA/BS degree in DesignArt, Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science, related field or equivalent practical experience 
  • B2B/B2C experience in tech-retail industry is massive plus 
  • Experience working with distributed teams would be a bonus. 
  • Experience with video and audio devices and software is a plus 
  • Fluency in English
